Sloped lots are common in the Hill Country. A retaining wall turns steep, washing ground into terraces you can plant, pave, or simply walk across safely. Done right, it is both structure and a clean edge in the landscape.

What you see is stone or block; what keeps it standing is footing, gravel backfill, and drainage that relieves water pressure after our hard rains. We build for the load and the slope — not a stacked face with nowhere for water to go.

Shorter garden walls, taller grade holds, seating walls, and terraced steps are all in play depending on the site.
