Tropical fireworks — orange-red blooms with long stamens on a ferny, heat-proof shrub. Dies to the ground in hard freezes, returns strong.

Specimen, sunny borders, large beds where summer drama matters.
Care
Cut to stubs after winter dieback. Needs full sun and drainage. Light summer water only. Foliage may drop near freezing (or even the 40s); dies to ground after frost but roots often survive near 18°F.
